A lovingly restored wood floor is a beautiful thing. This classic look makes any home, from the oldest Victorian to the newest models, look sensationally stylish, warm, and welcoming to your guests. When first beginning a wood floor refinishing project, however, you may feel overwhelmed at the work that lies ahead. If the previous owners or tenants applied thick paint or urethane to the floor, this will need to be removed prior to any staining or varnishing that you wish to do.
